Privacy Policy
This page explains what eventmail.fantasythemes.net collects about you and what it does with it. The short version: an email address if you ask to hear about EventMail Pro, and nothing else.
Who runs this site
This site is run by Alex Gurghis, the author of the EventMail plugin. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect, and why
The EventMail Pro form. If you fill in the form on the front page, we store your email address, the features you ticked and anything you wrote in the note. We use the address to tell you when EventMail Pro is available, and perhaps to ask you a question or two before that. We use the ticks and the note to decide what to build. We do this because you asked us to; you can change your mind at any time.
After you send the form you get an email asking you to confirm your address. Until you click the link in it, you are not on the list. Addresses that are not confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
A record of the emails we send. For every email sent to you we keep the address, the subject, the date and whether the mail server accepted it. This record is deleted after 90 days.
Protection against abuse. To stop the form from being flooded, the site keeps a scrambled (hashed) record of the sender’s IP address for up to one hour.
Server logs. Like most web servers, the server that hosts this site keeps access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for a limited time, for security and troubleshooting.
What we do not do
- No cookies for visitors, no analytics and no advertising.
- Nothing on this site is loaded from other companies’ servers.
- Our emails contain no tracking pixels and their links are not rewritten.
- We do not sell or share your address. If a mail delivery service is used to send our emails, it receives your address only to deliver the message.
The plugin itself
The EventMail plugin you install on your own site does not send any data to us or to anyone else. What it stores stays in your own WordPress database.
How to leave
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and there is an unsubscribe form on this site. Once you unsubscribe we stop writing to you.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and withdraw your consent, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Union and think we handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in Romania, ANSPDCP).
